It contains 1125 mg Albendazol in a single tablet. The tablets are oval, film coated, notched in the middle, whitish colour, and largish.

Albendazole benzimidazol carbonate group is an antihelmenitic with broad spectrum. The fashion of impact of the albendazol takes place through strongly combining to the tubulin cells that are structural proteins. This prevents tubulin from polymerizing with the micro-tubuls. Hence, it causes death of the parasite by breaking down the integrity of the parasite cells.

In addition, benzimidazoles inhibit the fumarate reductase enzyme systems of the helminites. In the energy system, as a result of the prevention of the gradual effectiveness of the fumarate reductase in the energy system, the mitochondrial energy production becomes subject to inhibition as adenosi triphosphate. Hence, the parasite that becomes lack of utilizable energy eventually dies.

Albendazol, in addition to the adult parasites dwelling in the digestion system, eliminates the 4th and 5th period larva of the majority of such parasites in 90 % or higher ratios and calls attentions particularly through its effects on the lung nematods such as Dictiyocaulus sp. Albendazol is distinguished from the similar substances through its impacts on the Fasciola tyoes living in the ruminants. Another point distinguishing this compound from the other benimidaoles is that its half life in the body is prolonged. Since it is not metabolized fast with the inactive metabolites, its effective concentrations sustain for a long time in the plasma and intestine, and it increases its effectiveness against immature larva and mature nematods. In the plasma, a peak concentration is achieved between 15 to 18 hours. Its activity seems to depend on sulphoxide metabolite. 80 % of the albendazol applied is discharged in urine in 3 days in calves.
Albendazol has a potent ovisid impact.
It might develop resistance against Haemonchus sp., Ostertagia sp., T. colubriformis benzimidazoles. In general, benzimidazol group have a limited impact on the filarial parasites such as Trichuris sp. And Onchocerca, and Setaria.

It is used for the treatment in cattle and sheep against stomach – intestine, lung pinworms, as well as tapeworm and liver flukes.

Tablets applied by swallowing through mount do not require diet. The pulverized tablet can be given by mixing into the fodder. The pharmacological dose is 7.5 mg / kg ca for the lung and intestine pinworms and tapeworms; 15 mg / kg ca for the pinworms, tapeworms, and adult flukes (fasciola); and 20 mg / kg ca for the Dicrocelium dentriticum.
In the cases that it is not recommended by the veterinary otherwise, following dose chart is applied.
